Roztoki Górne mountain pass (801 m a.s.l.) used to be part of a very important trading route between Lesser Poland and Hungary, at that time called Porta Rusica, i.e. Ruthenian Gate. Today on the Polish side of the pass there is a bitumen road and on the Slovak side a gravel road. In the mountain area, the route is truly picturesque owing to the beech forests and twisted hornbeams as well as, in locations outside forests, extensive views towards mountain ranges.
These beautiful scenic areas are really worth visiting. Tranquillity, interesting natural surroundings and the views along the way are guaranteed.
The presentation of the bicycle route was created in association with trassy.pl.
